So what are your ideas about the world of work? Have you got a part-time or holiday job? Are you still at school or in further education and planning your career in the future? Or are you already in full-time employment or training?
Work is certainly an important part of most Britons' lives - and for many people, it defines who they are.
To try and find out more, the Department for Work and Pensions carried out a Teens Talk Back poll, asking young people aged between 15 and 19 about their attitudes towards work, careers and benefits, and what is important to them when it comes to choosing a job.
The final results showed that teens like you generally have the same outlook as most adults already in work. The poll also showed that you already have a good idea about the sort of career you'd like to get into, even if you're still at school.
